Progress on New Altar, Backdrop, and Altar Step

On late Saturday, we finished building the new altar. Earlier this week, the hardwood flooring was installed on the altar step, and many hours were spent improving the look of the white backdrop.

Still to be done: install altar trim, stain the altar dark brown, building another gradine (a wooden box placed on the altar, on which the candlesticks are set) and other finishing touches.
